NFL Predictions: Week 15 Picks for Every Game

NFL Predictions: Week 15 Picks for Every Game

Athlon's experts pick every winner for every game on the Week 15 slate

With only four weeks left in the NFL regular season and no playoff spots clinched, every game from here out is critical. Four teams have been eliminated from postseason consideration but those are still playing for draft positioning.

And then there's a league-wide COVID-19 outbreak that has impacted every team to some degree while wreaking havoc for a select few. Because of this, the NFL announced on Friday that it had shifted three games on the Week 15 schedule.

Week 15 gets started with a bang when Kansas City heads to the west coast to play the Los Angeles Chargers on "Thursday Night Football." The Chiefs have won six in a row to not only reclaim the lead in the AFC West but also thrust themselves back into the chase for No. 1 seed. Los Angeles won the first meeting back in Week 3 so a season sweep would give the Chargers the edge in the division.

There's just one game on Saturday now but it's a big one with New England taking on Indianapolis. The Patriots come off of their bye holding onto the top seed and riding a seven-game winning streak while the Colts feature the league's leading rusher in Jonathan Taylor and still have hopes of chasing down the Titans in the AFC South.

On Sunday, Tennessee will look to extend its lead in the division and keep pace with New England and Kansas City for the No. 1 seed when the Titans travel to Pittsburgh to face a Steelers team that almost pulled off a historic rally last Thursday night on the road against Minnesota. Elsewhere in the 1 p.m. ET window, Dallas takes on the New York Giants, while Arizona (at Detroit) and Buffalo (vs. Carolina) both look to rebound from tough losses. And Houston and Jacksonville meet with the "loser" staying alive in the chase for the No. 1 pick in next year's draft. Get your popcorn ready.

Later on Sunday, Cincinnati-Denver and Atlanta-San Francisco are important games for those teams' playoff hopes, but the game everyone will be paying attention to is Baltimore's trip to Green Bay. Lamar Jackson's ankle injury is something to keep a close eye on but if he's able to play, this matchup between MVP quarterbacks and teams with Super Bowl aspirations should not disappoint. The day concludes with New Orleans facing Tampa Bay on "Sunday Night Football"

Then on Monday, there are now two games. The rescheduled one (originally set for Saturday) has Cleveland hosting Las Vegas in a matchup of teams that need a win to stay in the postseason hunt, especially the Raiders. That will be followed by a "Monday Night Football" matchup between longtime NFC North rivals Minnesota and Chicago.

Week 15 is set to finally wrap up with two more rescheduled games on Tuesday. It's a pair of divisional contests as Washington faces off with Philadelphia and Seattle renews acquaintances with the Los Angeles Rams.
