MLB Playoff Games on TV Today
Atlanta Braves vs. Los Angeles Dodgers, 5:08 p.m. on TBS
NLCS Game 3, Braves lead 2-0
ATL: RHP Charlie Morton (0-0, 0.00 ERA)
LAD: RHP Walker Buehler (0-1, 5.40 ERA)
Only 14 of the 87 teams to fall behind 0-2 in a seven-game postseason series have come back to win it. But the Dodgers have perhaps their best starter going at home in Buehler. They'll need a better showing from their bullpen, as well, which has given up consecutive walk-off hits. Morton and Buehler faced off on Aug. 31, and the Dodgers won 3-2.
Houston Astros at Boston Red Sox, 8:08 p.m. on FS1
ALCS Game 4, Red Sox lead 2-1
HOU: RHP Zack Greinke (0-0, 0.00 ERA)
BOS: RHP Nick Pivetta (1-0, 3.12 ERA)
Both right-handers will be making their first postseasons starts, although this could be more of a bullpen game. Greinke is not fully stretched out since suffering a neck injury down the stretch, and Pivetta has been in long relief in the playoffs. Boston is one grand slam away from setting a postseason series record after hitting three in the last two games.
